She handles family law and juvenile matters revolving around divorce, child custody and support issues, property division, juvenile matters involving the Department of Social Services and parent defense, and more.


Ms. Parsons takes pride in guiding clients during each step of the legal process. She understands that legal disputes often cause significant mental and financial stress of parties. Her ultimate goal is to find a tailored solution for her clients, meeting their specific needs and goals.


Many cases are resolved without heading to court, however, sometimes a trial is necessary. Ms. Parsons is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer. She was an assistant coach for her former Wake Forest University School of Law Trial Team and, since moving to Buncombe County, also served as the regional coordinator for Western North Carolina’s High School Mock Trial.


Ms. Parsons is currently a member of the Family Law section of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Buncombe County Bar, and the Buncombe County Bar Young Lawyers Division. Ms. Parsons has been nominated to SuperLawyers Rising Stars four times.


Along with North Carolina, Ms. Parsons is licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon. She is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina as well as in the Eastern Band of Cherokee Tribal Court.
